Angel Burn's Review

Angels are all around us: beautiful, awe-inspiring, irresistible.

Ordinary mortals yearn to catch a glimpse of one of these stunning beings and thousands flock to The Church of Angels to feel their healing touch.
But what if their potent magnetism isn't what it seems?
Willow knows she's different from other girls. And not just because she loves tinkering around with cars.
Willow has a gift. She can look into people's futures, know their dreams, their hopes and their regrets, just by touching them. But she has no idea where she gets this power from.

Until she meets Alex…
Alex is one of the few who know the truth about angels. He knows Willow's secret and is on a mission to stop her.
The dark forces within Willow make her dangerous – and irresistible.
In spite of himself, Alex finds he is falling in love with his sworn enemy.

My Review : This book was really good. I've always wondered what would someone's feelings be like when he is dragged out of his world, family, and friends to be with a total stranger that is being bitchy to you. Well, this book has shown me the scene. I really enjoyed Angel Burn. And I've been dying in every second in the book just waiting for Alex and Willow to say they love eachother. "I love you" is only three simple words but so hard to say in the position of sworn enemies.
Praises for L.A. Weatherly:)

City Of Bones Review

When fifteen-year-old Clary Fray heads out to the Pandemonium Club in New York City, she hardly expects to witness a murder - much less a murder committed by three teenagers covered with strange tattoos and brandishing bizarre weapons. Then the body disappears into thin air. It's hard to call the police when the murderers are invisible to everyone else and when there is nothing - not even a smear of blood - to show that a boy has died. Or was he a boy?
This is Clary's first meeting with the Shadowhunters, warriors dedicated to ridding the earth of demons. It's also her first encounter with Jace, a Shadowhunter who looks a little like an angel and acts a lot like a jerk. Within twenty-four hours Clary is pulled into Jace's world with a vengeance, when her mother disappears and Clary herself is attacked by a demon. But why would demons be interested in ordinary mundanes like Clary and her mother? And how did Clary suddenly get the Sight? The Shadowhunters would like to know....
Exotic and gritty, exhilarating and utterly gripping, Cassandra Clare's ferociously entertaining fantasy takes readers on a wild ride that they will never want to end.

My Review: Okay this book left me at a cliffhanger. It was so good that I couldn't put it down. Jace, a sarcastic guy who absolutely added some humor to the book, was so hurt that I ached for him at the end. Clary, a newly shadow hunter, has just pissed me off because it is so obvious she will start dating Simon. The ending didn't shock me that much becaus eit was so expected. No did ever wonder where's Jonathan. Anyway, although the ending upset me a bit, but I highly recommend this book. Truly Alluring : D
